~ No One I Recognise ~

Arriving at the endless river

still carrying my wishes

I run into the water crying

"Love what have you done?

What has become of the promises we made so holy?
Where is the child we loved so dearly?
Why do the wise men run for the mountains?"

and the sky is redder than blood

and the stars swim madly

as I dive down down through the oceans

to the dry ground so far below

and knocking on Love's door again

I look to see what I've become

and openning my heart I find

No one I recognise ~
