I find myself awake but as my eyes start to focus in the dim light I notice stone walls & a small doorway. There is a faint light flickering somewhere in the room. I start to feel what I am lying upon, it feels cold & I realise I am on a large stone slab. I sense a presence in the room & immediately I try to sit up  but these strong hands are placed upon my chest and I am firmly held down. A shiver runs through me and I try to focus on the being holding me down. The hands & arms are pitch black and seem to be of a velvet like skin. I try to see more of this being and try turning my head. All I see is a long beak of a bird. I now know that this being must be Thoth the Egyptian god and I immediately feel a rush of energy, partly excitement mixed with panic, which he senses and telepathically tells me not to be afraid and that he will be applying some pressure on my temples on either side of my forehead. I start to relax as his voice is powerful yet calming. I sense much warmth radiating from this being. I then notice a metal wand like instrument and Thoth starts to explain to me that I will feel some discomfort within my forehead as he begins to apply pressure from the wand to my left temple. The side of my head starts to pulsate, and it becomes stronger & stronger. I tried to stay calm and bear the pressure. He then released the pressure and moved to the opposite side of my head. Again the pressure started as he applied the wand like device. It was at this stage that I could'nt bear it anymore, it truly felt like my head was going to explode. Again he released the pressure and began to wave the wand over the area between my eyebrows. So rapid was the movement of the wand that I felt the area between my eyes start to expand with an almost tickling feeling. Once done the wand like device was removed and Thoth then asked me a simple question...'What happens to a grain of rice once it is heated?' Puzzled and quite a bit overwhelmed by the experience I start to sit up, when I feel a release within my body and I am now hovering above the stone slab looking down upon the area I was lying. I see a golden body but the head is not mine it is the head of an eagle...Horus...I awake in my bed with a jolt, the time is 5.15am. I get up to journal the experience.
