Thoroughly completely unsentimentally beyond 

They call you Dharmakaya                         

The body of absolute reality                        

Unknown, indescribable

Where even the greatest poets miserably fail

Words are utterly defeated

And thought will forever miss the mark

The gods themselves recoil in fear at your devastating austerity

For there is no solace in your primordial void

Where emptiness is empty even of itself

Hearts of courage, set for the challenge

Chasing a dream of they know not what

Into the depths of your infinite spaces

But you offer not a hint of refuge

To those who fling themselves into your abysses

Hopeless against the onslaughts of immanent truth

And yet you haunt our shallow lives

Mocking our superlatives

As so quickly we rise and fall

Bubbling up through the fabric of dream

Primary - fundamental

Thoroughly

Beyond beyond beyond

Responding to the true wishes of the lost

Emanation being, crystalline and pure

You inhabit the well-spring of our sincerest intent

You of the thousand names

Whose womb is space

And whose breath is cosmic fire

Worlds arising and dissolving

Galaxies of stars beyond number

All but grains of sand in your palm

In vast diverse array

As each one calls upon you

You appear in just the perfect guise

Sambhogakaya

Jewel-like being of Heaven

You are the personified ideal

Offering this moment from the Heart of Grace

All reality manifesting its blessing

Thus this sacred world appears

Your clear light pierces everywhere

Destroying every shadow

Dissolving all confusion

And so you abide

Patience undaunted

For as long as longing remains 

Great yogis of the void profound

Having long ceased to measure this against that

Fearlessly you enter the mystic sacrifice

Your non-dual view

Swallows the universe

Digesting every hint of hope and fear

Walking easily the paths

Where so rare a foot has fallen

Treasure ground which quenches all desire

Joyful in the smallest thing

With childlike fascination

As each moment the world is born anew

Wisdom compassion

Spontaneous expression 

Presence

Nirmanakaya

Somehow this is happening

This magical unimaginable  display
