The original picture is of course much higher resolution and you can <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultra_Deep_Field" target="_blank"> read more about it and view it on wikipedia here</a></span></p> <p><span style="color: #3a044c; font-size: small;">Every speck of light in the original picture is a galaxy with on average a few billion stars - and there are over 10,000 galaxies in this tiny and apparently insignificant piece of our sky.
