This thread is for introducing yourselves - who you are, what your vision of community is, how you found Kin Awakening, what you want out of the community, fears, aspirations, current situation, etc.

I am Atalanta. The Kin Awakening Community is my vision - held for many years of a sustainable, cohesive, functional community run along Spiritual principles.

I am a mum of 2 little girls (who I really want to give the gift of a sustained Gaia), my history is that I spent around 15 years in corporate Australia with nothing to show for it but some great business, administrative and working within and around the system skills...I have always (even in CA land) had environmental and activist leanings. I have been drug and alcohol free now for coming up to 7 years - and as I progress on my path, more and more toxic habits (caffiene, tobacco, meat) have fallen away. So, it was time to put the vision out into the world and this is where we are at - the beginning. I am sourcing sites, researching how to form a co-operative, attending a workshop in a couple of weeks about affordable housing, networking and generally doing what I can to get this vision to expand, grow and take corporeal form.
